What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) - Northern Virginia position at VIGEO Home Health?
VIGEO Home Health is hiring Virginia-licensed Physical Therapists for PRN W-2 home health visits across Northern Virginia.
Earn $80-$150 per completed visit, depending on visit type, with mileage reimbursement and one-on-one patient care in the home.
Share your PRN availability and realistic coverage area. Assignments depend on patient census, physician orders, clinical fit, agency needs, and your confirmed availability. Coverage expectations are reviewed before hire; visit volume is not guaranteed.

- Paid required onboarding, orientation, EMR, competency, and compliance training
- Structured two-month onboarding pathway as you ramp into active visits
- PRN scheduling based on confirmed availability and accepted assignments
- Geographically grouped visits whenever patient census and scheduling permit
- Clinical leadership support, clear documentation standards, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Secure VIGEO Chat App communication for scheduling, updates, and care coordination; no personal texting or calls for work coordination

Service Area
PT priority areas include Centreville/Fairfax, Reston/Herndon, and Ashburn/Sterling. Nearby coverage may include Aldie, Chantilly, Leesburg, and McLean, as well as Falls Church, Vienna, and Oakton, based on patient needs and confirmed clinician coverage.
VIGEO reviews ZIP codes, travel expectations, and the primary coverage area before assignments. Visits are grouped geographically whenever possible. Coverage outside the agreed area is reviewed before assignment and depends on your acceptance and agency needs.
Compensation Structure
Pay is $80-$150 per completed, authorized visit with required documentation, depending on visit type. This is a PRN W-2 pay-per-visit role, not a guaranteed hourly schedule or salaried position.
- Routine PT visits
- PT discipline discharge visits
- OASIS discharge visits
- PT re-evaluation visits
- OASIS recertification visits
- OASIS resumption of care visits
- PT evaluation visits

Required training is paid separately. Final visit categories, rates, paid non-visit work, and mileage terms are reviewed before hire. Patient volume varies with referrals, census, geography, clinical fit, and availability; no fixed number of visits or hours is guaranteed.
Onboarding And Training
All VIGEO clinicians complete a structured two-month onboarding pathway as they ramp into active visits. This includes paid required orientation, EMR and documentation training, competency validation, compliance training, and role-specific clinical support.
Independent OASIS assignments require successful orientation, documentation review, competency validation, and written clearance from clinical leadership. Shadow visits, supervised visits, or an extended preceptorship may be required. Timing and assignment ramp depend on credentialing, availability, clinical readiness, patient safety, and agency needs.
