Independent Enterprises provides community access services. The goal is to provide individuals with the information and training which will foster self-sufficiency and allow the individual to be included in their community to the degree they desire. Using the principles of person-centered planning, services are delivered according to the individual service plan in group and individual, center-based and community settings. Community Access Services are designed to assist the individual with an intellectual developmental disability in acquiring, retaining, or improving self-help, socialization, and the adaptive skills required for active community participation and independent functioning outside the individual’s home or family home. The Community Living Supports (CLS) Worker will provide support to individuals with intellectual developmental disability in the home and community settings.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and six (6) months of relevant job-related training or experience.
