We promote overall health and quality of life through treatment services (evidenced-based therapies and medication management) that reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance abuse for individuals, youth, and families.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Completes diagnostic formulations and appropriate assessments on clients with mental illness and substance use disorder.
- Collaboratively formulate a treatment plan addressing issues identified in assessments.
- Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence-based practice therapies for client with SPMI &/or SUD
- Assist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems.
- Provide psychoeducation around mental health, substance use, trauma, and recovery.
- Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs.
- Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24hrs).
- Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone.
- Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
***Flexible weekly hours (ex. 8hrs/day, four 10s), Monday through Friday with some expanded hours, Hybrid work model***

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and eligibility to be licensed and two (2) years of supervised experience in the area of assignment or two (2) years of experience at the lower level social worker 1 (HCP050) or position equivalent.
Note: Position requires licensure in the state of Georgia as an LMSW, LAPC, LCSW, or LPC
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCSW or LPC with 1 years of experience working in a clinical counseling/social work setting
- Experience with providing treatment for mental health, Alcohol and Drug services to Adults/ Children/Adolescent population
- Use of Care logic Electronic Health Records
- Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skill.

Requirements/Competencies:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
- Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
- Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
- Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities
Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
