View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use. The Behavioral Health Team Leader is the working supervisor for a team of clinicians, med providers &/or paraprofessionals staff providing mental health &/or substance use disorders treatment services. Under supervision learns to perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.
Duties& Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 3 (HCP052) or position equivalent; OR Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and there (3) years of experience in the provision of therapeutic services with which includes one (1) year in a managerial or supervisory role.
Note: Some position may require licensure in the state of Georgia as an LCSW or LPC.
