AI Development Intern

• Building and integrating cloud API services within Azure and/or AWS environments, connecting internal tools and external data sources to support Videojet’s intelligent systems roadmap.
• Contributing to shared AI and software codebases using Git best practices—including branching, pull requests, and participating in peer code reviews.
• Collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational needs, and translate them into clearly scoped technical tasks.
• Supporting backlog grooming and sprint planning activities, helping the team prioritize project work based on effort, impact, and stakeholder value.
• Prototyping and testing AI/ML model integrations relevant to Videojet’s product identification and marking solutions, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Participating in team stand-ups, design reviews, and retrospectives to develop your understanding of agile development workflows in a professional engineering environment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $22 - $30 USD per hour.
