V is a global Smart TV operating system, powering millions of devices worldwide. We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to support and scale the operational infrastructure of the Legal team, with a strong focus on commercial activities.


Position Summary

The Accounting position is a key member of the Finance & Accounting team, responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations and assisting in the month-end and quarter-end close process. Reporting to the Accounting Director, this role will work cross-functionally across geographies and business units to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP standards and company policies. The Accounting Manager will also serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external audit activities.


Duties & Responsibilities


Accounting Operations

  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned deliverables.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain organized and thorough documentation of all accounting transactions and reconciliations.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Assist in maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial data.
  • Support implementation and consistent application of accounting policies and procedures across all programs.
  • Help ensure all accounting processes are designed and executed in alignment with GAAP and internal control requirements.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting requirements.

Internal & External Audit Support

  • Coordinate the preparation and timely delivery of audit schedules, supporting documents, and requested financial data.
  • Assist in managing the annual external audit and quarterly review processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and auditor requests are addressed accurately.
  • Support internal audit engagements by facilitating walkthroughs, providing process documentation, and responding to findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the remediation of internal audit findings by working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and strengthen control procedures.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and workpapers for all key accounting areas throughout the year, not only during audit periods.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with teams across geographies and international locations to support the global close process and timeline.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Communicate proactively with the Accounting Director and CFO on key accounting matters and timelines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide accounting support and drive process improvements.


Required Skills & Abilities

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and verbal).
  • Hands-on experience supporting or coordinating external audits and/or internal audit processes.
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO) and audit documentation best practices.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Passionate about business excellence and continuous improvement in accounting processes.
  • Team player with integrity, a positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones with flexible operating hours as required by the business.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to audit coordination (internal and/or external).
  • Experience in the technology and/or media industry preferred.
  • AI on finance process automation and NetSuite- big plus
