FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER - ENTRY LEVEL (Learn) & *EXPERIENCED (Min 3 years)

We are Victory Fire Protection, an industry leader for over 30 years. Our skilled team provides fire sprinkler systems installation and service to commercial and residential properties throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.
We are seeking both *ENTRY LEVEL and *EXPERIENCED FIRE SPRINKLER FITTERS individuals who have a solid work ethic, a desire to advance, take pride in their work, and are not afraid to invest time in learning the skills needed to grow within our company.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Professionally represent Victory Fire Protection on all job sites
- Travel to customer sites - residential/commercial buildings at times up to 1 hour away
- Install, repair, and modify fire sprinkler systems according to company standards
- Groove and thread steel pipe, solvent cement weld CPVC, Solder Copper
- Work alongside Foreman and learn on the job best practices, company standards
- Learn proper fire sprinkler installation techniques, best practices and NFPA Code
- Understand blueprints, comprehend installation standard and NFPA Code requirements, to complete project on time and under budget
- Abide by company safety policies and procedures
- Heavy lifting

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL FIRE SPRINKLER FITTERS
All Candidates:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willing to commute daily within 50-mile radius of Pottstown, PA, if required
- Able to work scheduled hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Willing to work overtime if needed, including Saturdays
- Able to effectively read and use a tape measure down to an 1/8” increments
- Capable of performing all physical duties
- Ability to work safely, securely at heights more than 30’-50’ at times
- Ability to work on a ladder, scaffolding, or lift equipment
- Ability to effectively use operate and manager power tools safely
- Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. frequently
- Proficient with mobile technology (Smartphone / Tablet / Email / Texting)
*ENTRY LEVEL Fire Sprinkler Candidates:
- Pipefitting or plumbing background a plus
- Construction experience and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Willingness to learn all facets of the job to gain knowledge of the trade
- Assist technicians with day-to-day responsibilities
*EXPERIENCED Fire Sprinkler Candidates:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of NFPA 13D, 13R, and 13 standards
- Understand fire sprinkler codes, technical data, and installation instructions
- Proficiency in CPVC / copper / steel piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints
