DOUBLE KWIK CORE VALUES
These are the behaviors that determine who gets hired, who gets promoted, and who gets to stay.
Do they sound like you?
1. We Become What We Think About
We take responsibility instead of blaming. We come prepared with solutions, not just problems. We speak positively about the team, customers, and company, and we set personal goals and follow through.
Mindset: I own my attitude, my effort, and my results.
2. We Serve Others First
We greet every customer with warmth and attention. We anticipate needs—clean stores, stocked shelves, fresh food. We help teammates without being asked, and we treat the community like family.
Mindset: Service is the reason we exist.
3. We Do the Work—Every Day
We show up on time, ready, and focused. We follow through on commitments. We maintain standards even when no one is watching, and we embrace routine, discipline, and accountability.
Mindset: Consistency beats intensity.
4. We Do What's Right—Always
We tell the truth—even when it's hard. We handle money, product, and time with honesty. We treat everyone with fairness and respect. No lying, no stealing, no drugs.
Mindset: My integrity is who I am when no one is watching.
5. We Take Pride in Everything We Do
We keep our stores clean, organized, and customer-ready. We make sure food is fresh, high-quality, and never compromised. We hold a high standard in appearance and execution, and we fix issues immediately instead of walking past them.
Mindset: Details matter because people matter.
6. We Grow People Into Leaders
We coach, teach, and give constructive feedback. We prepare others for the next level of responsibility. We share knowledge and best practices. We hold people accountable while supporting their growth.
Mindset: My job is to develop others, not just manage tasks.
7. We Honor the Past and Build the Future
We speak with pride about our company's legacy. We protect what made us great—values, quality, service. We embrace systems, structure, and innovation for growth, and we think long-term, not just day-to-day.
Mindset: We respect where we came from and take responsibility for where we're going.
8. We Rush without Being in a Hurry
We work efficiently without chaos or panic. We stay calm under pressure. We prioritize what matters most, and we make thoughtful, timely decisions.
Mindset: I move with urgency and control.

DOUBLE KWIK — Clean. Fresh. Right. Every Time.
We're Double Kwik. We're a family-led, Eastern-Kentucky-grown company with 42 stores (and growing toward 50), and we exist to serve our communities with pride—through clean stores, exceptional homemade food, and a welcoming experience that feels like family.
We're also more than a convenience store. We're an ecosystem that includes Childers Oil, our restaurant Group, and Raven Rock. Together, we fuel communities, feed people, develop leaders, and build a generational legacy.
We're on a mission to become one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky. So if you want more than a paycheck—if you want a career, a team that has your back, and a company where your work actually matters—you're going to like it here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our procurement leader, you'll own the entire procurement process—from strategic sourcing and planning to vendor management and contract negotiation. You'll combine your negotiation skills with real experience navigating supply chains.
You'll find the right suppliers with the best terms and the right products for our standards. In short, you'll make sure our procurement process actually meets the company's needs through strategic planning, research, negotiation, and supplier selection.
You'll also build the procurement function: writing the policies, setting the guidelines, and helping the rest of the team make smarter, faster, cheaper buying decisions.
Sound like the role you've been waiting for? Here's what we need from you.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, procurement, business, or a related field
- 1 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (convenience store, grocery, fuel, or foodservice experience strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of procurement software; willing to learn additional systems as needed (PDI a plus)
- Experience with vendor contracts, RFPs, and cost analysis
THE KIND OF PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You're sharp with numbers and obsessed with the details
- You're an analytical thinker and natural problem-solver
- You're a strong negotiator and a relationship-builder
- You're a power Excel user and comfortable across the Microsoft Office Suite
- You communicate clearly—both in writing and in person
- You can lead, present, and influence without a big title
- You're a self-starter who takes initiative and plans ahead
- You handle pressure well and don't add to the chaos
- You think like an owner (a fiduciary mindset—you make decisions like the business is yours)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office-based role in Whitesburg, KY with regular travel to stores, vendors, and partner sites
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and groups of people under pressure
- Must be able to talk, hear, stand, sit, and type/keyboard or enter data using a computer and monitor up to 8 hours per day
- Plan, conduct, and attend meetings in person or via teleconference software
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Connect with leaders across the company to understand what we need to buy and why
- Spot opportunities to do it better, cheaper, or smarter—and lead the change
- Manage the direction, coordination, and evaluation of our procurement processes
- Build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Write and implement policies for risk management and procurement improvement
- Analyze data to predict market trends and make smarter procurement decisions
- Partner with other departments to know what items or services are needed and when
- Build detailed reports on company needs and procurement performance
- Build budget proposals for materials, goods, equipment, and advertising
- Find creative ways to meet budgets through smart sourcing and data analysis
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to lock in the best terms
- Monitor supplier quality and step in fast when performance slips
- Any other assigned task by management
IS THIS YOU?
Before you apply, ask yourself:
- Do I get excited when I find a better supplier or save the company real money?
- Am I comfortable picking up the phone and negotiating with a partner I've never met?
- Do I follow through on what I say I'll do—even when no one is watching?
- Can I see myself building a procurement function from the ground up?
- Am I ready to commit to a values-driven, family-led company for the long haul?
If you're nodding your head right now, we want to talk to you.
