MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures
- Document all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelers/work orders and receiving/shipping documents
- Performs in-process inspection of all parts and/or assemblies in accordance with the requirements stated in the work order or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions
- Performs visual inspection both unaided and using microscopes
- Performs various dimensional inspection using specific dies or gauges, or dimensional inspection systems and micrometers
- Performs additional duties as requested
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of machining experience
- Demonstrated experience with setting up and operating milling, EDM, lathes
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Demonstrated experience using various measurement tools
- Problem solving skills
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
