We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deburr Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare components for assembly
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate deburring processes
- Perform quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and surface finishes
- Assist with CNC programming, CAM programming, and setup adjustments to optimize machining operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with machining, fabrication, assembly teams, and warehouse personnel to support production flow
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming skills
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately
- Knowledge of welding techniques including MIG welding is a plus for handling related fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, and press brake operation enhances versatility
- Understanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding material flow and inventory management
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for deburring processes
