Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications and blueprints.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
- Set up and adjust machine tools, including tool changes and offsets, as needed.
- Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members on production schedules and workflow improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the training of junior operators as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, including knowledge of Fanuc controls and CAM programming software such as SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience operating various machinery, including CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Competence in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Experience with hand tools, assembly line work, materials handling, fabrication, tooling, welding, and quality control processes is preferred.
