Job Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Danvers, MA. This self-motivated individual will be responsible for inspecting products, conducting testing procedures, and ensuring compliance with quality standards during and after the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and quality standards.
Inspect raw materials, finished products, and tooling using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and other applicable customer requirements.
Review non-conformance issues, recommend corrective actions, and report quality trends.
Conduct in-process and final inspections, documenting results in inspection logs.
Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and supplies.
Maintain quality records, process documentation, and complete Corrective Action Reports.
Train and support production personnel on quality requirements.
Communicate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
2 years of quality assurance or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and process documentation.
Proficiency with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Familiarity with manufacturing software, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, bending, and reaching for prolonged periods.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
