Traveler Registered Nurse -Orthopedic

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
• Strong Orthopedic (Ortho) experience
• Active California RN License (Temporary or pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Flu Vaccination Required (No exemptions or declinations allowed)

Position Details

• Specialty: Outpatient Clinic RN
• Shift Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
• Shift Timing: 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• Schedule Modifications: Not permitted
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Floating: Required within scope of practice as needed
• Local Candidates: Accepted (Must be within 50-minute commute)
• Pending License: Not accepted
• RTO Restriction: No time-off requests allowed during the first 2 weeks of assignment

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with post-surgical follow-up visits and procedures
• Schedule and coordinate nurse visits for:
• Phlebotomy
• Diagnostic testing
• Other clinical procedures
• Administer:
• Immunizations
• Injections
• Oral medications
• Perform blood draws and specimen preparation for laboratory pickup
• Manage clinic-related telephone communication with provider guidance
• Provide coverage for LVN / Medical Assistant duties during staff absences or breaks

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $56.00 - $58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
