Role: Skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including assessing maternal and fetal health, administering treatments, assisting in labor, delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal stabilization.
Collaborate with healthcare teams, respond to obstetric emergencies, interpret fetal monitoring, educate patients, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Document patient care accurately and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year recent L&D RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred certifications include Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and STABLE.
Essential skills include critical thinking, excellent communication, physical mobility, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
Must possess visual acuity and sensory skills necessary for patient care.
Key Duties: Equipment preparation, medication administration, emergency response, patient education, documentation, and assisting in obstetric procedures.
