Role: Responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric patient care as a Labor and Delivery RN in a travel assignment.
Key Responsibilities: Assess maternal and fetal health, administer treatments, assist during labor and delivery, provide postpartum care, educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare teams, respond to obstetric emergencies, interpret fetal monitoring, assist in procedures, document care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: One year recent L&D experience, valid RN license, current BLS and NRP certifications, strong clinical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and patient movements, and the capacity to work under pressure and as part of a team.
