Therapist

The Social Worker / Therapist provides comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatment, and individualized aftercare planning for residents in a residential setting focused on co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders.

• Delivers clinical care, leads therapy groups, and develops treatment plans ensuring compliance and personalized care.
• Coordinates care and aftercare with referral sources to ensure continuity and recovery support.
• Maintains accurate documentation, promotes least-restrictive interventions, and supports staff development.
• Participates in supervision, on-call duties, and ongoing professional growth while upholding confidentiality and core values.
  
  

Requirements include a master’s-level license (LCSW, LCPC, etc.), active Maine licensure, and experience in addiction treatment. Skills needed are strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and organization.
