Technologist - MRI

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist, responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments following practice standards to assist in diagnosis and patient care.

Key Duties Include

• Demonstrating thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal results.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans per hospital protocols.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
• Participating in quality improvement activities to uphold care standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area to meet MRI competencies.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), with ARRT(MR) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Educational requirements include certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and licensure as needed.

• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and pushing, with varying levels of exertion.

Environmental & Physical Demands: The role involves predominantly sedentary work with occasional physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs and standing or walking continuously. The work environment requires compliance with safety standards related to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and airborne infectious diseases.
