Safety Assistant Manager

Role: The Assistant Manager, Safety leads a team of safety professionals to develop and improve safety systems, processes, and equipment, ensuring compliance and promoting safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex safety improvement projects and safety themes within the plant.
• Manage daily safety operations, mentor team members, and foster technical growth.
• Apply safety policies, perform risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and analyze safety data.
• Communicate safety activities and results through detailed reporting and presentations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
• 8 years of safety experience or equivalent manufacturing background.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., Safety Professional, Safety Management).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation.
