- Provide patient assessment, collect health data, and coordinate individualized care plans involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely, while communicating effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Educate patients and families based on thorough assessments to meet their specific learning needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
