Intensive Care Nurse

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill adults in a Level II Trauma Center.

Key Duties

• Perform complex patient assessments and ongoing monitoring for critically ill adults
• Manage life-support needs, including ventilators and titratable infusions/drips
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with intensivists and a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure safe transitions of care across settings
• Precept other staff when needed
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and ongoing education
  
  

Qualifications & skills: Current RN licensure, strong critical-care assessment and intervention skills, proficiency with ventilator management and titratable therapies, and excellent teamwork, communication, and emergency response abilities.
