ICU Registered Nurse
Provide high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill adults in a
Level II Trauma Center
. Perform complex patient assessments, manage critical therapies including
ventilator support
and
titrated IV drips
, and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
Key duties
- Deliver advanced nursing care using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices
- Coordinate with intensivists and a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure safe transitions of care and continuity between providers
- Precept and support other RNs as needed
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain competency through ongoing education
- Active Registered Nurse licensure
- Strong ICU/critical care assessment and intervention skills
- Proficiency managing ventilators and titratable infusions
- Ability to act decisively in high-acuity, fast-changing situations
