Job Summary: Responsible for providing respiratory care services under supervision, following physician orders and department policies.

- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies with care and accuracy.
- Verify and clarify orders, respond to therapy outcomes, and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collect patient information for evaluation and treatment planning.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient education thoroughly.
- Instruct patients and utilize educational materials appropriately.
- Ensure respiratory equipment is properly set up and functioning, reporting issues promptly.
- Interpret ABG values and communicate findings to physicians, suggesting improvements.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program and/or NBRC certified or registered.
- Current NYS respiratory therapist or technician license.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Preferred: 3-5 years hospital experience.
