- Operating radiographic equipment, including mobile units, and selecting appropriate exposure settings
- Evaluating radiographs for quality and accuracy
- Transporting and positioning patients safely
- Recognizing emergency situations and adapting to stressful conditions
- Maintaining proficiency in using radiographic tools, processors, and computers
- Understanding basic anatomy to ensure precise imaging
- Assuming responsibility for procedures performed and performing related duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State licensure may be required based on location (e.g., Arkansas licensure)
- ARRT registry or eligible, with registry achieved within 6 months of hire or within 1 year in Arkansas
- Technical proficiency in radiologic procedures
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team
- Physical ability to manipulate equipment, lift, and move patients
- Capable of evaluating radiographs and recognizing emergency situations
