Psychiatrist - Corrections

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Psychiatrist to provide mental health care at two correctional facilities in Bay Minette, AL, working 4 hours weekly on-site with mandatory phone consultations.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and lead follow-up care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Support staff education, emergency preparedness, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Train staff on mental health systems and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  
  

Requirements: Valid Alabama medical license in Psychiatry, board certification or eligibility, 3-5 years experience, current DEA registration, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in relevant technologies.

Pay: $150-$200/hour.
