- Perform general nursing duties, administer treatments, and assist with patient examinations and testing.
- Observe, document, and report patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Manage appointment scheduling, prioritize emergency cases, and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Greet patients, collect medical histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for exams.
- Conduct various clinical tasks such as specimen collection, wound care, medication administration, patient education, and assisting with procedures.
- Perform specialized tasks with appropriate training, including blood draws, injections, EKGs, and IV management.
- Coordinate testing, admissions, and follow-up on test results.
- Respond to patient inquiries, provide medication and treatment instructions, and update care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation, prepare exam rooms, and ensure compliance with policies and confidentiality protocols.
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and adhere to ethical standards and regulations, including HIPAA.
- Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Valid state nursing license and current BLS certification.
- Prior medical office experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
