Bioprocess Development Scientist

Role: Lead design, optimization, and scale-up of biologics and advanced therapy processes in a regulated biopharmaceutical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust upstream and/or downstream bioprocesses.
• Drive technical transfer into GMP manufacturing.
• Support process characterization and prepare for validation activities.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation and filings.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve process performance.
• Apply data-driven, QbD-based approaches to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to align technical and quality requirements.
• Mentor and guide scientific staff while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Strong expertise in bioprocess development and scale-up; proficiency with regulated biopharmaceutical expectations (including GMP-minded execution, validation support, and regulatory documentation); strong problem-solving and technical leadership abilities; effective communication and teamwork across functions; commitment to patient-focused, quality-driven work.
