General Summary
The Accessory Technician tests, adjusts, troubleshoots, repairs and/or overhauls core aircraft accessory components to manufacturer specifications, customer expectations, and Duncan approved procedures in a clean and safe work environment, with assistance as needed. In addition, this position accurately prepares and completes appropriate documentation.
Essential Job Functions
With minimal supervision, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and tests core accessory components using hand tools, power tools, ground support equipment, test equipment and technical documents. Orders parts needed to complete the work.
Researches, prepares, and signs off various documents, including updating work order status, for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan approved procedures, manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations with minimal supervision.
Provides accurate repair and overhaul information for creating estimates.
Maintains and cleans test equipment and work area as required.
Performs other duties as assigned management.

Environmental: Tolerates working in noisy environments. Tolerates working with and around chemicals.
Education and Experience
Associates Degree in related field or equivalent preferred
Minimum one year aviation component maintenance or related experience required
