Work Status Details: REGULAR FULL TIME | 80.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Days Pay Rate Type: Hourly Location: Yuma Medical Center Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Min = $20.95 Mid = $26.19 Max = $31.43 Summary: The Medical Imaging Aide works in the radiology department of a hospital, clinic or other health care facility; serves as a valued member of a health care team, assisting the radiologic technologist with patients during the imaging process; maintains workflow for Emergency Department patients and monitors patients waiting; follows departmental protocols to request patients for various modalities; maintains a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities: Assists patients and their families navigate radiology care. Promotes timely and effective throughput of patients throughout the radiology department. Assists radiologic technologist during the imaging process. Cares for patients by navigating them to procedures, answering questions and preparing them for imaging studies. Ensures that patients are comfortable and at ease during the imaging process. Provides assistance to the radiologic technologist with duties like CD processing and image transfer. Communicates with other members of the health care team to coordinate patient care. Directs workflow for patients in the Emergency Department and other assigned areas. REQUIRED:

• BLS (to obtain with in 90 days of hire)
