Work Status Details: REGULAR FULL TIME | 80.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Days Pay Rate Type: Annual Salary Location: Corporate Center Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates. Min = $68,875.27 Mid = $86,094.08 Max = $103,312.90 Summary: The project manager provides leadership for all enterprise projects based on organizational priorities. The incumbent will be responsible for managing complex projects at the enterprise level including groups of interrelated and/or cross-functional projects to meet organizational strategic goals. Accountable for partnering with business owners to establishing project framework using standard methodology, track progress, mitigating risk and controlling change in order to ensure delivery that meets time, cost and quality objectives. Responsibilities: Demonstrates a personal accountability for financial results through mindful execution of project budgets; engages staff in efforts to contain costs and improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of services; understands the basics of health care financial management; assists in establishing project budget targets, holds self and other individuals accountable for compliance with annual budget plan; identifies program or service growth opportunities and methodologies to enhance revenues. Communicates how individual and section goals overlap with YRMC's goals; demonstrates commitment for the good of the organization while maintaining congruence with commitment to the section; recognizes and uses information about organizational climate and key individuals to accomplish legitimate organizational goals; remains aware of the importance of timing, politics and group processes in managing change; balances section needs with the hospital needs; works collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders to achieve section's, department's, and YRMC's goals. Exhibits unyielding commitment to providing excellent service to patients, physicians, employees and other customers; demonstrates strong communication skills through effective exchange of information with others, including written and oral communication, active listening, influencing the behavior of others and building personal rapport; communicates with others in an open and friendly manner, while simultaneously building credibility and rapport; exhibits strong interactive skills through a demonstration of respecting others' feelings, ideas and opinions; fosters an open interchange, displays a genuine understanding and acceptance of others; demonstrates perceptivity regarding others' feelings, ideas and opinions; contributes to a respectful work environment; communicates values and attitudes that will promote the customer service culture of the group; models appropriate behaviors and values; displays respectful behavior with all employees. Exhibits a commitment to operational management and completing tasks through personal initiative, and persistence; demonstrates an ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, balance workload and follow through to achieve institutional and individual goals and objectives; demonstrates use of good judgments and sound decision making (common sense, intuition, data collection, analytical skills, impact evaluation, communications) to systematically address problems, define alternate solutions, negotiate and facilitate implementation of solutions; balances need for consensus and involvement with need for decisiveness and action; provides consistent and open encouragement to trying new and creative approaches, yet willing to make a decision and take a stand; assists in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures, which support the section but are aligned with hospital Personnel Policies and Administrative Policies; identifies to supervisor if project has appropriate staff, facilities, space, and other resources needed to perform efficiently; helps establish performance standards with which to measure effectiveness and efficiency of services; ensures compliance with regulations governing hospitals and the rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the organization's service delivery system and by initiating changes as required; manages customer relationships and communicates their needs and expectations clearly to staff; provides a good system for resolving problems and learning from them; works with both internal and external customers in fulfilling the mission of the department and the institution. Assists in developing project portfolio structure, organizes timing and maintains/updates/tracks all aspects of enterprise projects. Assists planning and directing enterprise projects ensuring appropriate resources are scheduled and used to complete projects on-time and on- or under-budget; assists in clarifying role of project management to establishing project management policies, guidelines, metrics, methodologies and templates; establishes a repository of lessons learned and best practice.
