Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Detailed Responsibilities
- Requires the ability to work independently often, as well as be a contributing member of the healthcare team.
- Requires assisting in general diagnostic, special procedures, ultrasound, CT, PET, MR, Nuclear Medicine and mammography procedures.
- Contacts patients to obtain necessary pertinent information/medical history for upcoming appointments.
- Facilitates communication between patient, radiologists and other healthcare providers for assigned patients.
- Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and diminish patient apprehension.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols.
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.
- Observes patient, obtains/monitors vital signs, records significant findings and notifies appropriate chain of command of patient's condition, deviations from normal, reaction to drugs, response to treatments and significant incidents.
- Responds to urgent/emergent/life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols.
- Documents all patient information in appropriate areas of medical record.
- Helps positively promote/market the services provided by the company to patients and healthcare providers.
- Requires flexibility to work at multiple locations.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) preferred, or Associate's degree (A. A.)
- Excellent IV placement and chest port access skills required
- Radiology experience preferred
- Recent experience with cardiac monitoring and conscious sedation preferred
- Current AZ State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
