What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Veterans Home?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled care team. You will provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with our healthcare team, ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents while adhering to established nursing standards and practices.
Current Openings:
- .7 FTE- 12-hour night shifts, 2-3 days/ week, 6:30pm-7:00am
- PRN/Temporary- Flexible hours based on facility needs
Located in Lisbon, North Dakota, the North Dakota Veterans Home is a long-term care community dedicated to honoring and serving our nation’s Veterans and eligible family members. The home includes two basic care pods and one skilled care pod. Duties and Tasks
You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the health and well-being of our residents. Duties include:
- Implementing individualized care plans
- Providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments
- Recording patient health information and maintaining accurate medical records
- Overseeing nursing personnel on duty during your assigned shift
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure residents receive the best possible care
Minimum Qualifications
- Active North Dakota RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and organization skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in long-term care preferred, but not required
