Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Bridgeport, WV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft avionics, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience on any aircraft platform. Experience working on commercial aircraft is preferred. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining avionics and electrical systems to ensure aircraft safety and compliance with FAA standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain complex avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.
- Remove, repair, and reinstall avionics components to ensure proper operation.
- Assemble and install electrical and electronic components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics issues, providing accurate problem analysis.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Follow and comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures.
- Perform work according to FAA regulations, technical manuals, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Avionics Technician on commercial aircraft platform.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or Airframe (“A”) license preferred.
- Certification from Avionics/Electrical/Aircraft Electronics Technician school or equivalent military training preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Comfortable using computer-based maintenance tracking systems.
- Must have a basic set of tools.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, days, and weekends.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
