What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Veteran Hiring Solutions?
You kept equipment running in demanding environments. Now put those skills to work on the civilian side.
This hands-on multicraft role is a natural fit for veterans with mechanical aptitude, a mission-first mindset, and the discipline to keep a production floor running at full tempo. The work is roughly 75% mechanical with a meaningful electrical and electronic controls component, supporting a plastics manufacturing facility that runs hard and takes care of its people.
A veteran placed in this role six months ago has already proven himself and moved to 1st shift. We're looking for his replacement.

- Respond to production line breakdowns and restore operations with urgency
- Document completed work including logs, data reports, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and quality teams on maintenance needs
