Position Details
- Role: Kennel Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

This position supports pets staying in both our hospital and kennel. Among other responsibilities, a Kennel Tech:
- Provides daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Cleans and sanitizes kennels, cages, and work areas to maintain a healthy environment
- Monitors the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or veterinarian
- Prepares animals for surgery by shaving, cleaning, and disinfecting surgical sites
- Monitors anesthesia, vital signs, and patient status during surgery
- Provides post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain, and dressing wounds
- Sanitizes and packs surgical equipment
