You’ll work closely with customers and internal sales teams to understand needs, qualify leads, manage accounts, and consistently drive revenue.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business through market research, lead development, cold calling, and outbound outreach
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and performance standards
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
- Collaborate closely with Sales Management to execute strategic sales approaches
- Follow up promptly on new leads, referrals, and inbound inquiries
- Present and sell Vesco’s products and services to current and prospective customers
- Accurately document calls, activities, and account details in the CRM system
- Develop strong product and industry knowledge across lubricants, recycling, and related services
- Support field sales efforts to ensure effective account coverage
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Self-starter with strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proven experience with cold calling and outbound B2B sales
- Background in lubricants, oils, or industrial equipment preferred
- Experience with recycling and/or battery products is a plus (not required)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close business
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable learning and using CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and successful sales experience
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in the oil/lubricant industry
- Must reside in Michigan
- Occasional travel to other Vesco locations required
