Will join a manufacturer and supplier of precision gear products, including spur gears, helical gears, bevel gears, worm gears, planetary gear systems, gearboxes, and assembled gear units.
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager
Will have experience selling or managing accounts within the mechanical power transmission and gearing industry, such as gears, gearboxes, couplings, drives, motors, bearings, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other MRO or mechanical power transmission systems.
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager will be based in Chicago, managing an existing client base and developing new profitable accounts in the surrounding region.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager Role
• Must have experience selling gears, gearboxes, and precision power transmission products.
• Manage key accounts within the mechanical power transmission and gearing sector via distribution channels and OEM customers.
• Develop and expand an existing client base while bringing in new profitable customers.
• Sell a range of products within the mechanical power transmission and gearing industry, such as gears, gearboxes, couplings, drives, motors, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Identify and acquire new market potential.
• Liaise with internal and external sales teams.
• Willingness to travel across the Chicago metropolitan area and surrounding territories.
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager Requirements
• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within the mechanical power transmission or gearing industry.
• Proven experience selling into the gearing and power transmission industry, including gears, gearboxes, drives, couplings, motors, bearings, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Chicago and the surrounding regions.
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
