What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Vertiv?
Location: Westerville, OH (fully on-site)
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for specific day-to-day business activities for customer projects including but not limited to purchase order creation, client follow-up actions, revenue recognition, assisting Project Managers with daily activities and creating ad-hoc reports, working in 3rd party commissioning software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with Project Managers and Project Accounting to review financials on projects.
- Creates Oracle SplashBi and Smartsheet reports used by Project Management team.
- Revenue recognition on products when needed.
- Meets weekly with assigned Project Managers and teams.
- Works in Oracle (ERP system) creating purchase orders, receipting purchase orders, assists with project closeout, builds equipment list in Smartsheet,
- Maintain contact with Project Managers daily as needed.
- Maintain project Financial Reports including weekly Wip Backlog, Rev 04-19 and Rev 04-29 Sox reports.
- Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required.
- Two years of professional experience.
- Prior project coordination experience required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use general office equipment.
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software.
