To support our continued growth, we are adding a Fabrication Worker to our team. In this role, you will fabricate, build, and assemble metal components and structures in a production environment, ensuring materials are prepared accurately and efficiently for installation at commercial job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to fabricate required components.
- Select appropriate materials based on job specifications and structural requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal materials to precise dimensions.
- Weld, rivet, solder, or fasten seams using screws or other approved methods.
- Perform assembly-line fabrication tasks such as punching, bending, rolling, and forming metal sections.
- Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain production schedules and meet output demands.
- Coordinate equipment shutdowns and startups with other departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate production and repair records.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to complete fabrication projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong measuring, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and fabrication processes.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights when required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 lbs with assistance.
