We are hiring an experienced Structural Steel Estimator with real, hands-on structural and miscellaneous steel experience. This role is for someone who understands steel, pricing, and people
Key Responsibilities:
- Review take-offs, shop drawings and specifications to forecast project costs
- Estimate raw materials, labor, tools, and shop processing, handling and freight
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate bids
Qualifications:
- 3 years in structural steel or miscellaneous metals estimating
- Proficiency with traditional cost estimating for shop production
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes
This Role Is NOT For
- Entry-level estimators
- Candidates without structural steel experience
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
