This is a temp-to-hire position offering consistent hours and the potential for permanent placement. The Production Operator is responsible for producing products in a timely and efficient manner for the customers.
Production Operator Job Duties:
- Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
- Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.
- Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
- Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets customer specifications and industry standards.
- Operate air and power tools as needed in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
- Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
- Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
- Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Pay: $19.80 per hour
Production Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience required
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience required
- Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel
- Read and understand blueprints/drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
