Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global, highly regulated manufacturing environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and support business operations. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional looking to develop technical accounting skills while gaining exposure to international business operations.

Worksite Location:

Blaine, MN – Hybrid opportunity; seeking local Twin Cities candidates. On-site work is required 2 days per week.

Salary Range

$75-80K/yr. base salary (dependent on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including preparation of journal entries
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation
• Analyze financial data and assist with variance analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams including operations and supply chain
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship experience preferred)
• Foundational understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
