BIM/VDC Modeler – Electrical
We're working with one of Texas' leading electrical contractors to find a BIM/VDC Modeler to join their growing team.
This is an opportunity to work on large-scale ground-up projects across hyperscale data centers, healthcare, higher education and commercial construction while joining a business that invests heavily in its VDC department.
The Role
- Produce and develop high-quality electrical Revit models for large-scale construction projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure models are accurate and construction-ready.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and help resolve coordination issues before construction.
- Support field teams with constructability reviews and model updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior modelers where appropriate and contribute to BIM best practices.
What They're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years' BIM/VDC modelling experience.
- Strong proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
- Electrical construction background or strong electrical modelling experience preferred.
- Experience on large-scale ground-up commercial, healthcare, higher education or data center projects.
- Able to work independently with minimal training and hit the ground running.
Compensation
- $70,000–$120,000 base salary (DOE).
