Vernovis is looking for a Senior Software Developer who will play a key role in supporting and enhancing a variety of in-house developed and vendor-supported business applications that serve our clients internal associates and retirees. This position is ideal for a full-stack developer who enjoys designing modern solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and working closely with business partners to deliver impactful technology solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications while helping modernize our client’s technology footprint. In this role, you will collaborate with HR/Benefits teams and other corporate business areas to test, implement, and support application changes that improve business processes and user experiences.
This position is part of a small, collaborative development team responsible for supporting numerous business applications used by high-profile business partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and enjoys solving complex problems while delivering results.

What You'll Do:
- Perform full-stack development for enterprise web applications
- Design and develop solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Create and maintain data integrations across multiple business applications
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and service-based integrations
- Collaborate with HR/Benefits and corporate business teams to test and implement application changes
- Provide ongoing application maintenance and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while optimizing performance
- Work with architects, developers, business partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, collaboration, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Technologies used:
- .NET / .NET 8 / C#– Build scalable enterprise applications
- Visual Studio Professional– Application development and debugging
- MudBlazor– Modern UI development for .NET applications
- HTML / CSS– Develop accessible and responsive user interfaces
- JavaScript / jQuery– Add dynamic functionality to web applications
- SASS– Streamline and improve CSS development
- REST APIs– Develop and consume services across applications
- Entity Framework Core / LINQ– Data access and ORM integration
- SQL Server / Oracle– Database development and integration
- Service-Based Architecture & Design Patterns– Build scalable enterprise solutions
- CI/CD & DevOps– Automated builds and deployments
- TFS / Azure DevOps– Source control and pipeline management
- Strong full-stack development experience using .NET / C#, including modern frameworks like .NET 8 Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating across enterprise systems Solid front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ideally with frameworks like MudBlazor)
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, plus ORM tools like Entity Framework Core
- Background working in enterprise environments with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Azure DevOps/TFS
