What You’ll Do
Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and management of a 240 firewall Check Point environment across 130 North American sites.
Manage the KnowBe4 security awareness platform, including phishing exercises and training.
Assist in designing and implementing new security platform.
Create and modify firewall rules, policies, and security device configurations.
Monitor and report on availability of security layers and respond to alerts.
Conduct root cause analysis, trend analysis, and collaborate with teams to minimize risks.
Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, compliance reporting, and B2B connectivity.
Document and improve processes; design and support secure architecture solutions (VPN, access, hardware/software).
What Experience You’ll Have
(3–5 core qualifications)
2 years of hands-on Check Point firewall administration.
Strong foundational networking knowledge required to support firewall operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with firewall design, deployment, upgrades, and security incident troubleshooting.
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
What Experience Is Nice To Have
(Optional, expands target market)
Check Point certification (highly preferred).
Cisco security/network certification.
Experience with Azure NSGs/ASGs, SD-WAN, and broader enterprise security tools.
