Required Skills:
- Minimum two (2) years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare, preferably in hospice or palliative care marketing
- Proven success in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advocate compassionately and effectively
- Ability to conduct outside sales visits and outreach to referral sources within the assigned territory
- Skilled at marketing healthcare services with a focus on trust, empathy, and education
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance for regular travel throughout Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, and Orange Counties
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior clinical experience or healthcare facility sales background (outside sales focus)
- Familiarity with hospice services and palliative care environment
- Experience working with social workers, discharge planners, and skilled nursing facilities
- Comfort leading sensitive conversations around hospice care with patients and families
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; additional relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements
- Hospice marketing experience is strongly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability Monday through Friday
- Ability to drive extensively within the assigned multi-county territory
