Clinical Director – Leading Compassionate Care with Impact

As Clinical Director, you will collaborate closely with Program Directors, Hospice Physicians, and Community Liaisons to ensure compliance with Federal, State, ACHC, and organizational standards while fostering growth and excellence within your team. Required Skills
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year providing direct patient care in hospice, home health, or oncology
- At least 1 year supervisory experience in hospice or home health care settings
- Proven expertise in terminal care management—crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, clinical bedside nursing, and family counseling
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and nurture a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and general computer skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and emotional intelligence abilities
- Current CPR certification (per state requirements)
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
Nice to Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Experience in creating and delivering clinical training and staff development programs
- Background in quality assurance, compliance audits, and performance evaluations
- Ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary team settings
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree preferred
- 3 years relevant nursing experience including hospice or home health care
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience within clinical hospice care
Other Requirements
- Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm schedule based in Albuquerque, NM
- Compliance with all state licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements
- Reliable transportation to support service area needs
