Position: Finance and Operations Coordinator Food & Nutrition
Description & Essential Functions: The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to assist the Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition Services in facilitating the cafeteria affairs of the district through the supervision of the many office related tasks under direction and guidance of the Director
Essential functions include:
- Answer telephones, record messages and greet visitors
- Reconcile Food Service bills and invoices, process requisitions
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Prepare journal entries
- Debt management (unpaid meal charges)
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Reconcile deposits and sales
- Place orders for delivery to the schools
- Approve time entry and process absence reporting corrections for all cafeteria personnel
- Is familiar with negotiated contract language of bargaining unit
- Handle routine correspondence independently
- Type letters, reports, memos, requisitions, etc. as required
- Maintain appointment calendar and travel schedule for the Director of Food and Nutrition Services
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Respond to routine questions and requests in an appropriate manner
- Prepare invoices for all catered events
- Maintain the strictest confidence concerning personnel, students and operational concerns of the district
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
- Report all cases of suspected child abuse to appropriate school personnel and proper government authority

Salary and Benefits: $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience. Please see attached job responsibilities and job description. Health Benefits are included with this position.
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday in the office
