Position Summary
The Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling support, and delivering exceptional customer service while helping patients navigate CAHN's system of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and register new and returning patients.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility information.
- Assist uninsured and underinsured patients with available resources.
- Educate patients on appointments, services, payment responsibilities, and required documentation.
- Follow up on missed and canceled appointments.
- Process payments and balance end-of-day reports.
- Support telehealth follow-up scheduling.
- Maintain front desk operations, supply inventories, and required reporting.
- Participate in daily team huddles and other assigned duties.
Schedule
Hours of Operations
Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional extended hours may be required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office, customer service, or front desk experience.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred; eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred.
- Medical collections experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
