Capital Area Health Network (CAHN) is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support dentists and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This role assists with chairside procedures, radiography, sterilization, patient education, and clinical documentation while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures and prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take and manage digital dental X-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Collect and document patient medical and dental histories.
- Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education.
- Maintain accurate records and support clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
- Support a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse patient population.
Schedule
- Monday-Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional extended hours as needed.
- On-site position.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Radiation Certification required.
- DANB Certification preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
