E-Commerce Driver / Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated E-Commerce Driver / Warehouse Associate with at least 2 years of driving experience. This role is split between deliveries and warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and preparing customer orders. Approximately 50% of the time will be spent driving and 50% assisting in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Driving Duties (50%):

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and businesses
• Load and unload merchandise for deliveries
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records

Warehouse Duties (50%):

• Pick customer orders accurately according to packing slips
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit
• Label, sort, and stage orders for shipment
• Receive and organize incoming inventory

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory procedures

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load and unload goods using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques to ensure safe lifting practices.
• Drive assigned routes efficiently, maintaining accurate delivery schedules while providing excellent customer service upon delivery.
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and organizing materials for shipment.
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with team members in real-time.
• Load and secure packages properly in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and vehicle operation to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and material movement.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks preferred.
• Familiarity with driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely using proper lifting techniques and adhere to safe lifting practices.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling requirements in the workplace.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable; certification preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries.
• Comfortable working in a physically active environment involving moving goods and manual labor throughout the shift.
